**The Vacancy**
Join PA Betting Services as Shift Leader and you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of our Live racing operation, supplying horse and greyhound racing betting markets for the UK and other global territories. Reporting to the OperationsManager for live racing, you will take a leading role in the management and development of your team.
Based in our operations centre in Howden, East Yorkshire you will play a vital role in ensuring we remain market leaders in delivering high quality service to the Racing and Betting industry.
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Utilise 1:1s and PA Performance Programme to develop direct reports.
- Define and implement new processes and procedures.
- Incident reporting and escalation - acting as a key point of contact when on shift.
- Responsibility for the team rota - ensuring staff levels are maintained at an optimum level.
- Assist with recruitment in your team, ensuring new staff are on-boarded with the required levels of training.
- Maintain excellent operational relationships with key rightsholders and customers.

**What you’ll need**:

- Experience of leading and motivating a team.
- Experience working to strict SLA’s and KPI’s.
- Strong knowledge of betting market formation.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Horse and Greyhound racing industry.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and use initiative.
