**Polypipe Building Products** are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
The purpose of the Technical Administrator is to support with the growing number of administration tasks for the Technical Department. This includes managing multiple mailboxes responding promptly, concisely and politely to various technical based enquires on our products pointing the customer to the best placed person to deal with the issue. They will also be responsible for the management of key processes such as our BIM ( Building Information Modelling requests) and supporting our Site Support team by booking visits, arranging call backs with our technical team, booking hotels and training as well as other admin based duties.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deal with multiple Technical based mail boxes including Residential, BIM, Drainage enquires
- Support with the live chat platforms and Wizzeo leads sent via the main website
- Support the site support team by booking hotels and site support visits
- Assist with the Approved Engineer Network by approving request, sending welcome gifts and dealing with general enquires
- Assist the Project Consultants and Fulfilment teams during busy periods
- Liaise with customers and provide a high level of customer service.
- Efficient and effective communication with customers, line managers and other
- departments within the company.
- Ensure full accuracy and attention to detail in all interaction with internal / external
- customers.
- Understanding and striving to meet or exceed KPI’s and SLA’s while providing excellent consistent customer service
- Ensure that customer commitments are always met.
- Adhere to the company’s internal customer service standards: quality and efficiency
- performance processes, telephone greeting and manner, professional written
- communications, agreed response times, etc.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Log and update relevant customer-related information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure extensive product knowledge is maintained. Participate in all training provided in relation to: company products, operating systems, processes and procedures, and retain knowledge. Fully utilize all training and support materials.
- Display a flexible and co-operative approach at all times.
- Assist other staff as required.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

- To provide support for all field staff with relation to complaints, and any other Non-Sales Activity
- To be an effective communicator and ensure all complaints are acknowledged in a timely manner and customers are kept information throughout the complaint process
- Support with any trade shows and promotions in relation to the UFH website
- Work with and build relationships with repeat customers
**Requirements**:
- You should have at least 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including Maths & English or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- High skill level on IFS/CRM (preferred)
- Goal focused to achieve team and individual targets, KPI’s and SLA’s
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work well as a team and also independently
- Detail orientated with a logical approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous complaints experience desirable
- Ability to demonstrate customer care skills whilst being assertive when necessary
**Hours of work**: Monday - Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm.
