We are working with a trust in Knowsley who require experienced Learning support assistants to work with small groups of students with social, emotional and mental health needs delivering tuition through the National Tutoring Programme.

If you have experience working in an alternative provision this would be a wonderful, rewarding position for you.

The groups will be from years 7-11 so key stage 3 and key stage 4 English and Maths will be required.

Newly Qualified teachers (NQTs) or (ECT) who would like to develop their experience working with individuals or small groups of pupils would also be excellent.

Or maybe you are recently retired from teaching, but would like to offer support in your local schools to help the children recover from the loss of learning and the social impact of COVID-19.

You will work under the direction of the Class Teachers and Senior Leaders, to provide outstanding support to students.

The rate of pay is excellent for the role, we can pay between £25-£35 per hour via PAYE.

Once registered with us, our NTP team will talk you through the next steps, including completing the relevant modules to provide NTP tuition.

**Successful applicants will have**:

- Experience working within SEND or PRU
- Available for 5 days per week
- Moving and Handling, Team Teach or Mapa trained preferred but not essential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
