We are looking for an experienced **full time, permanent Office Administrator** with previous experience in similar role to join our admin team. You will need to be a good team player with excellent communication skills, have the ability to manage your own workload and work well on your own initiative. The role involves meeting tight deadlines so exceptional organisational skills are paramount.
Your duties will include assisting with the following.
- Answering and handling incoming telephone calls
- Deal with customer queries in person/online/by telephone
- Processing customer orders on computer system
- Taking customer payments
- Updating stock
- Daily despatching and tracking of orders
- Posting invoices, credit notes and statements
- Provide support to the busy sales/marketing team
- Identifying and resolving any errors as appropriate
- Versatile and willing to adapt to support colleagues within a tight-knit team
- Assisting with customs declarations (experience in this would be a distinct advantage)
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy office setting.
- Proven experience of computerised accounts.
- Confident customer focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail. Strong IT Skills to include MS Office (in particular, excel and outlook).
- Must have good working knowledge of Sage accounts (or similar).
**Salary**
£22,500 per annum and company pension.
