**Role: Support Worker**

**Location: Vane Hill ARBD Care Home, Torquay**

**Hours: 34.5 hours (3 days) per week, 07.45 a.m. - 20.00 p.m, includes alternate weekends.**

**Salary: £11.00-£11.25 per hour (+£2 p/h overtime)**

**THE ROLE**

**We are recruiting for a committed and passionate Support Worker to work at our ARBD Care Home, Vane Hill located above the Harbour in Torquay.**

**Vane Hill provide specialist support for individuals living with Korsakoff’s syndrome with mental health problems and the effects of Alcohol-Related Brain Damage. Supporting the residents of Vane Hill on an individual basis in line with their personal support plan, you will assist them with all aspects of their life, from day-to-day activities to achieving their goals.**

Ideally you will have previous experience and hold an Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

**THE RIGHT PERSON**
- Must be prepared to train and complete Health and Social Care Diploma
- Must have demonstrated the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative
- Must demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the care home
- Be able to carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Operations Team
