**Catering / Food and Beverage Assistant**who has excellent customer service and communication skills is required for an onsite Café / Coffee Shop based within a brand new School located in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.

**FULL TRAINING PROVIDED**

Previous catering / hospitality or experience working as a server would be desirable. Although, not essential as full training will be provided.

**SALARY**:£10.50 per Hour plus Paid Holiday and Benefits (see below)

**LOCATION**: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

**JOB TYPE**:Part-Time / Full-Time / Permanent / Contract / Temporary

**WORKING HOURS**:Full-Time and Part Time Hours are Available

Shifts Available between the hours of:

- Weekdays: 3:30pm to 9:30pm
- Weekends: 8:30am to 6:00pm

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a number of new full-time and part-time job opportunities available within an onsite Café / Coffee Shop based in a brand new school for a Catering / Food and Beverage Assistant who has excellent customer service and communication skills.

Working as the Catering / Food and Beverage Assistant you will have the ability to cope in a busy environment, work well under pressure, and deal calmly with unexpected situations.

As the Catering / Food and Beverage Assistant you will be an enthusiastic team player and demonstrate a passion for hospitality, putting the customer at the heart of what you do. With a willingness to learn, you will demonstrate excellent communication skillsand impeccable personal presentation.

As the provision grows and expands there could also be future opportunities to work across the Trust at other school sites around Hedge End.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Catering / Food and Beverage Assistant include:

- Preparing food and drinks for the users of school facilities
- General cleaning duties and washing up
- If working at the start or end of a shift, you will be responsible for locking up the Café / Coffee Shop

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Catering experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- You will need excellent customer service skills
- Friendly and helpful manner when interacting with customers
