Marks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds based professional services business for the role of Credit Control Assistant. The business is a market leader within their field, going through a period of change as they relocate their finance team to Leeds.

This role will assist Credit Control team with managing the overall debt position and provide accurate reports highlighting key debt issues when required by Credit Controllers.

This role will require a high level of Excel along with experience producing management reports within an Accounts Receivable function.

For this role, they will pay up to £28,000 on a 35-hour working week, 50% home working and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will also be eligible for performance related bonuses.

Key areas of responsibility:

- Provide timely and accurate reports to the Credit Control team
- Provide high level Management Information to the Credit Management team
- Assist the Credit Control team with the early Collection steps in line with the Credit Policy to ensure both UK and department cash collection targets are achieved
- Help to develop and maintain Client and Collector Dashboards to support collection activity
- Ensure accurate and concise collection notes are maintained within the Firm's collection system to reflect the current debt position for internal reporting purposes
- Identify client disputes and ensure prompt resolution by working with both internal and external clients whilst ensuring escalation procedures are always adhered to.
