The Role: Security Officer

Providing a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
Preventing theft and minimizing stock loss
Acting as a vital link between store management and local law enforcement
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with store/client management to meet loss prevention objectives
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service
Detect and prevent shoplifting using ASCONE Procedures
Ensure the safety of client employees and customers
Build effective relationships with local security teams and police
Implement company security measures to control store shrinkage
Provide a visible security presence within premises
Skills and Experience required.

Valid SIA licence
The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
Smart and presentable in appearance. Polite and proactive in engaging customers
Ability to follow company procedures and policies
Experience operating as a Security Officer with retail or leisure experience desirable
Able to stay calm in a highly pressured environment.
Experience in retail or leisure security (desirable)
