Roving Nights Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and reliable **Female Roving Night Care Workers** to join our dedicated team. This unique role involves working overnight across multiple service users’ homes, supporting individuals with a variety of care needs. The position offers an excellent opportunity for carers who are flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality support throughout the night.
Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support, this is a **female-only role** (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide high-quality person-centred care during the night in line with individual care plans
- Respond to individuals’ needs including personal care, mobility support, medication requirements, and emotional reassurance
- Conduct routine checks and support as required throughout the shift
- Travel between homes with your assigned colleague, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery
- Record all care provided using mobile documentation and reporting systems
- Uphold dignity, choice, and independence for all individuals
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals
- Adhere to health and safety procedures and safeguarding guidelines
- Attend regular training and team meetings as required
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with individuals to support their overnight needs are preferred but not essential, as full-training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Happy to work between the hours of 22:00-08:00 for 8 or 10 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (We aim for our staff to work - one weekend on, one weekend off)
- Valid UK driver's license, with business insurance and reliable transportation
- Our staff will be expected to use their own vehicle to travel between individuals' properties throughout the night - Mileage will be paid at a rate of £0.45 per mile, and our automated system will calculate the distance between each individuals property
- Enhanced DBS _(Can be obtained upon completion of our interview)_
**Pay structure**:
All staff who join our company, enroll in a 6-month probationary period. Upon completion of their probationary period, the Staff's pay will be equivalent to their level of qualification.
- Frank House Care Services Ltd _work alongside a training provider, who can deliver on-the-job training, to complete their levels of care certificates, such as Level 1-3 Health and Social Care, Level 1-3 Childcare, and courses for development into a manager role.
We aim to give all of our staff to develop with Frank House Care Services Ltd, into higher qualifications, or future management positions (if interested).
- Pay starting at £13.15 p/h
**(An increased rate is offered for nights & weekend work)**
All our pay rates are reviewed annually, we aim to remain significantly above the minimum working wage each year.
