Valeter (Ft)

**_Recra are working in partnershi_**p with a leading fleet management company, which is looking to add an experienced Valeter to join their team.

**VEHICLE STEAM CLEANER / VALETER - Permanent - Immediate start**

Reporting to the Manager, the post holder will be responsible for steam cleaning customers & company vehicles. In addition, the post holder undertakes the responsibilities associated with the regular housekeeping and maintenance duties in and around the wash bay area ensuring they are kept to the standard of cleanliness as required by the company

**Particular areas of responsibility will be**:

- General duties include MOT steam cleaning, Customer vehicle washing, Company vehicle cleaning, company Vehicle monthly checks, and New and Used Sales preparation (external and internal valeting).
- Ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to including the mandatory wearing of any personal protection equipment (PPE).
- Take all necessary measures for the employee’s own safety, colleagues, and the general public & surrounding areas to limit the effects of any incident occurring.
- Provide a high standard of cleanliness & tidiness in relation to all areas of the wash bay and working areas in order to maintain the company image and a safe working environment at all times.
- Prioritize workload for customer requirements.
- Safe handling and awareness of any hazardous liquids/chemicals which may be in use.

**Hours of work**:

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (14.00pm to 22.00pm) 40hrs per week.
- Plus Saturday morning as and when required (paid overtime).
