RSR Public Safety are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Solihull for a Cleaner.

This is a part-time (15-25 hours), temporary ongoing role, offering a pay rate of £11.75 an hour.

**Main Duties**:

- Damp dusting furniture, fixtures and furnishings, suction cleaning and wet mopping floors and stairwells, washing walls, and other vertical surfaces and tiled areas
- Cleaning kitchens and welfare areas including cleaning and defrosting refrigerators, cleaning inside units and cupboards.
- Removal of waste and confidential waste to central waste collection points (bins, skips etc.).
- Follow specific cleaning specifications to enable safe cleaning across the site.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and to report any faulty equipment.
- Report any maintenance defects that are noted in the building.
- Cleaning of external areas such as car parks and clearing ground level drains and gullies.
- Undertake learning and carry out any other duties commensurate with the purpose and grading of the post.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Possess a full clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to commute to alternative areas of work within the estate when required.
- Ability to undertake work that involves physical effort (e.g. bending/lifting).
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- You must be a British citizen. If you hold dual nationality, with the primary nationality British, you may also be considered.
