Poppy’s is the new artisan bakery that recently opened its doors in the heart of Enfield. We’re a novel independent venture, founded by three friends who came together to create a modern business adhering to the values of traditional greek hospitality.

Our team is a tight-knit group characterised by **kindness, integrity, and determination**.

We are already making some noise within the local community and would like to ensure that we continue to improve consistently; so we are looking for someone who will be excited to get up for work every day, knowing that they are making a real impact in our journey together.

**As the right person for the job, you will**:

- Be passionate, reliable, adaptable and forward thinking
- Endeavour to embody our values of kindness, integrity, and determination
- Have extremely high personal hygiene standards, understand our food safety procedures, and ensure that these are properly followed at all times
- Have previous experience working in the hospitality industry, ideally involving food preparation in a bakery - barista skills would be a big plus too, but not essential

**In addition, you will be willing and able to perform a variety of duties, including**:

- Offering counter service, as well as limited table service
- Assisting in preparing various foods, including pastries, sandwiches and salads
- Assisting in preparing various drinks, including coffee, tea and smoothies
