We offer an unrivalled product range, backed by expert knowledge and exceptional customer service. Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.
**As a Quality Officer your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to**:
- Controlling and maintaining Pharmaceutical Quality Systems
- Writing, reviewing and approving quality documents
- Supporting all departments with quality activities such as the raising and execution of quality documents
- Approving and periodically reviewing of vendors, including identification of supply chain and creation and approval of quality agreements
- Leading, participating in, and reviewing all types of investigations, Root Cause Analysis and Quality Risk Management
- Managing and assisting with archiving requirements
- Leading and supporting internal and vendor audits
- Assisting with MoD over-labelling process from a quality perspective
- Assisting with the preparation and execution of regulatory and customer audits
- Assisting in regulatory agency inspections as a SME
- Ensuring regulatory changes are appropriately assessed for their impact on the business
- Assisting with any company product recalls
- Assisting with validation activities, if required
- Producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set key performance indicator
- Undertaking project work, as part of a multifunctional team
- Identifying any relevant quality-related training needs, provide training tools and deliver training

- Act as an ambassador for the business, presenting the Group in a positive way with clients, customers, and colleagues.
- Work flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
- Always maintain confidentiality and security.
**To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate**:
- Strong, up to date knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and other relevant regulatory requirements
- A supportive nature - and good team-playing mentality
- Being capable of working towards KPIs
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work at pace and in a high-pressured environment
**Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 0900 - 1800
