**The Company**

This established company offer facilities management services to public sector sites on a nationwide scale. We have recruited with them for a number of years with many success stories, including the operations manager who we introduced to this business severalyears ago, he is still very much enjoying the role and working for this ever evolving business.

- 20 days annual leave (increasing to 23 days with length of service)

**The Role**
- Undertaking PPM's and any reactive faults
- Completing basic maintenance tasks such as changing door locks, painting and decorating, fixing leaks, changing light bulbs etc.
- External maintenance such as basic grounds maintenance
- Ability to spot faults and report to the helpdesk
- Understanding and ability to comply with Health & Safety requirements

Although you don't need any formal qualifications it is essential that you have experience in a similar role.

**Essential requirements**
- Previous experience working in a similar maintenance/ handyman/ caretaker role
- Experience working in commercial environments is essential
- A positive can-do attitude - we're looking for people who can walk into a building, spot problems and fabric maintenance issues and get them fixed with little fuss
- Flexible approach to work; working both in a team and lone working
- Provide excellent customer service
