My client is looking for an experienced and confident UI designer to help convert high-level requirements into engaging and professional user experiences. The company office is based in Kent but this role can also be fully remote should you wish to workfrom home.

Necessary skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field is desirable
- 4+ years of proven work experience as a UI Designer
- A portfolio of design projects
- Working knowledge of wireframe tools
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Up to date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Desirable skills and experience
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
- Understanding or prior experience in the clinical trial / pharmaceutical industry is an advantage

Day to day responsibilities
- You’ll gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- You’ll illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- You’ll design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- You’ll build page navigation buttons and search fields
- You’ll develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how products function and look like
- You’ll create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- You’ll prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- You’ll conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- You’ll adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- You’ll manage testing and present results to stakeholders. Keep archive of tests and results for reference as best practices. Conduct ROI analysis of test results and recommend rollout plans.
- You’ll maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trends within the industry.
- You’ll conduct competitive analysis and regularly review competitor strategies.
- You’ll optimize current web, platform and mobile products through an iterative design process.

- You’ll design clean, intuitive, and functional user interfaces across multiple devices and platforms.
- You’ll deliver organized design documents compliant with UX standards
