**The Team**

The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest teams. Within the division sits our Construction & Engineering Team, this is a fundamental area of our business and therefore we are deeply committed to it. The group is one of the markets largest and most specialist construction law teams in the UK, boasting over 70 lawyers. The team's specialist experience combined with their commerciality, great relationships and innovation are the reason that they remain ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers.

The team advise on every aspect of Construction Law across all sectors of the industry, both contentious and non-contentious. The work of the group is hugely varied and includes buildings, civil and process plant engineering, energy, infrastructure and utilities - across both private and public sectors. The team also provide project support and advice to our wider Real Estate, Banking and Projects teams.

**The Role**

This is a high performing, cohesive and busy team with a strong reputation for providing associates with early levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment and therefore you can expect to take a leading role on some matters. At this stage in your career the team will take a genuine interest and support you with your development therefore offering excellent career prospects.

**Knowledge Skills & Experience**
You will have:

- Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
- Ideally, at least six months' experience in construction law, ideally set in construction or projects and gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level
- The ability to actively support complex transactions, liaising and coordinating with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as needed.
