**Who you'll be working for**:
Our client is an established business with a number of sites across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to join their established Procurement team in a Category Manager role, leading the IT and Technology category. If you have generalist Indirect experience and are interested in moving in to a more IT focused role, this is anideal move
You will have access to excellent benefits, flexible hours and hybrid working (50/50 working from home / from fantastic modern offices in Greater Manchester).
**What the role will involve**:
- Full procurement responsibility for IT and technology spend
- Leading tendering activity and negotiations with a range of IT and technology service providers
- Delivering cost savings on high value, complex contracts
- Managing risk in relation to procurement and supplier activity
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering commercial solutions to business needs
**What you will ideally bring**:
- Significant procurement experience managing Indirect categories
- Proven track record delivering cost savings across complex service contracts
- Experience leading tendering and negotiations for complex agreements
- Ability to manage large scale, high profile projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
