**PR & Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) - Surrey - up to £42k + package**

We are recruiting for a PR & Communications Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. As the main PR contact for the brand, you need to have proven experience of contributing to and helping to deliver an annual PR strategy, executing campaigns acrossall media, managing issues and crisis communications, and collaborating on SEO-focussed content campaigns and affiliate partnership networks to maximise ROI.

As well as working collaboratively with colleagues across all marketing channels and other functions within both businesses, you will also need to be self-starting and be able to use your own initiative to capitalise on opportunities. You must have excellentcontacts with UK consumer and trade travel media, bloggers and Influencers.

**To be considered for this role, we also need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications**:

- Significant PR experience with in-house and/or agency side.
- Strong experience in UK media relations possessing key consumer media contacts across print, online and broadcast media outlets. Existing relationships in travel (consumer, and trade), consumer lifestyle and technology media preferred
- A proven track record of delivering high impact, innovative PR campaigns and events
- Creative and innovative - constantly coming up with new, imaginative content ideas and techniques or brand campaign ideas.
- The ability to manage changing requirements as well as having outstanding project management and organisational skills
- Experience of drafting and responding to and managing crisis related PR activity (preferably for a consumer facing brand).
- First class communication skills both written and verbal (including excellent press release and statement writing skills).
- Able to handle fast-paced environments, with quick-turn timelines
