Café Assistant/barista

Overview:
We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our team in providing excellent service at our bustling cafe. The role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service.

**Duties**:

- Assist in some food preparation and presentation
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Operate coffee machines and other cafe equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Help with stock management and replenishment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills to assist patrons effectively
- Time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently

A lift to and from work can be provided from Catterick Garrison. Age/students is not a problem as long as you are available at least 2 weekdays as well as weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
