**The Company**
We’re delighted to be supporting the search for a **Business Analyst to join a global Business Intelligence team** at this elite US law firm. Operating globally in all continents, this firm has built an enviable reputation for delivering cross-borderand multi-jurisdictional services across a broad range of business sectors, geographies and vertical markets, on behalf of a portfolio of corporate industrial clients, governments, banking and financial institutions. You will be supporting the implementationof data management strategy and business intelligence use across the firm.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Business Analyst
- Supporting preparation of value-added analysis & commentary on various aspects of the business
- Defining & gathering analytical & reporting requirements from business stakeholders
- Translating data into simple-to-understand analysis & commentary
- Acting as a business partner for reporting & business intelligence by developing a strong understanding of the business model & organisational structure
- Identifying data issues & communicating these within the BI group
- Collaborate with the shared services team to innovate & improve quality, process optimisation & streamlined delivery
- Working with stakeholders to drive engagement with existing BI tools

**Skills & Attributes** of the Business Analyst
- Ideally a graduate in a numerate or data-focused discipline
- 2 years + hands on experience of data analysis and business analytics, ideally gained within the Legal or Professional Services sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to present and communicate with a variety of stakeholders
- SQL skills and familiarity with data modelling concepts, and if you have exposure to Python that is an advantage
