FJA are looking to recruit a **Site Manager** working for a National Utilities Contractor within the Glasgow area.

As a **Site Manager** you will be working as part of the Operations Team who are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our wastewater and water infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

You will be working 45 hours a week between the hours of 7:30am and 17:30pm

Your role as a **Site Manager** will include:

- Leading and managing a site engineering team on a large value or portfolio of projects
- Reporting to the Site Agent of Project Manager
- Ensuring all sites are compliant with company SHEQ policy and procedure and drive a strong Health & Safety and quality focus culture
- Engaging with the General Foreman on a daily basis to progress the site works on programme
- Ensuring SHEQ documentation is produced timeously, maintained and briefed to the workforce
- Having control of QA documentation and permits
- Maintaining productivity trackers and site statistics
- Coordination of procurement with supply chain and Yard Manager
- Completing Weekly SHEQ and Temporary Works inspections
- Managing work fronts in local communities and ensure a positive approach to dealing with members of the public
- A minimum of 5 years civil engineering experience including pipelaying, deep excavation, temporary works & streetworks
- HND/Degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant H&S Legislation
- Knowledge of construction standards and specifications
- Knowledge of NRSWA
- Strong communication skills
- Appreciation of design inputs and ability to interpret and challenge where appropriate
- Problem Solving Skills

- EUSR Water Hygiene & SW DOMS
- First Aid at Work
