**Job Purpose and Overview**

The main purpose of this role is to work as a team with an experienced Legal Executive within our New Build Conveyancing team, assisting them to manage the caseloads they are responsible for. In this role you will be proactive in delivering an exceptional service to clients. You will have a keen eye for detail with an efficient, effective and positive manner.

**Key tasks and Accountabilities**
- Working in a team with a Legal Executive to support in all aspects of the day-to-day running of files
- Responsibility for dealing with transactions from instruction through to completion
- Undertaking Exchange of Contracts
- Communicating with Clients, Agents, Brokers and Solicitors on a day-to-day basis
- Providing updates and general advice
- Working with our internal Case Management System and assisting clients to manage their case via our smartphone app

**Person Specification**
- You will have 1 to 2 years experience of working as a Legal Assistant in Conveyancing, preferably with New Build experience too but this is not essential. You will be given the opportunity to further develop your legal career with us
- Strong organisational skills, able to set own priorities for the day ahead
- Strong common sense and logical approach to considering situations
- Good time management skills to ensure deadlines and turnaround times are achieved
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult customers, previous customer service experience is desirable
- Good telephone skills with a friendly and approachable manner, keen to generate an excellent first impression

**A Flexible working environment**
- All employees are currently able to opt to work one day a week from home (pro rata for part time staff). During our settling in period, you will be expected to work in our office for your full working hours
- The flexibility to take annual leave from as little as one hour at a time
- We also operate a flexitime working system providing flexibility with hours of work
- Lunchtime closure across the firm with one hour lunch break
- ½ day leave to celebrate your Birthday

**Salary and benefits**
- We offer a competitive salary within a salary scale that allows ongoing progression
- A starting annual leave entitlement of 31 days (including bank holidays) increasing by a further 2 weeks with service
- Full-time hours which are lower than many employers at 35 hours per week over Monday to Friday
- We operate a non-contractual bonus scheme which you will benefit from after completion of our settling in period

This role will be based at our Queen Street office, located in Mansfield.
