The Head of Business Intelligence will play a pivotal role in rebuilding and optimising a robust Enterprise Data Warehouse to serve as the foundation for a best in class reporting suite. This role is crucial for transforming raw data into actionable information that drives informed strategic decision making across the organisation. By ensuring that data is structured, scalable, and accessible, the Head of Business Intelligence will enable accurate and timely reporting that informs key business initiatives and enhances overall performance.

**What you’ll be doing?**
- Define and execute a long-term business intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving data needs. Continuously assess and enhance business intelligence capabilities to support scalability, efficiency, and innovation
- Lead, develop, and expand the business intelligence team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture. Mentor team members, build capability, and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Establish and enhance business intelligence processes, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring efficient data management, reporting, and analytics. Drive standardisation and automation to improve scalability and accuracy
- Work closely with the Data & AI squad to design, build, and optimise a robust EDW, ensuring data is structured, governed, and accessible to meet current and future business needs
- Oversee the development of a best-in-class reporting suite, ensuring it delivers accurate, timely, and self-serve analytics that empower stakeholders and enhance decision-making across the business
- Identify and implement business intelligence tools and technologies that enhance reporting capabilities, data accessibility, and automation. Ensure the business intelligence tech stack integrates seamlessly with the EDW and broader data architecture
- Act as a trusted partner to a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation, including commercial, operational, finance, and technology teams. Collaborate to translate business needs into business intelligence solutions, ensuring reporting supports strategic decision-making across various functions
- Ensure high data quality, consistency, and compliance within the EDW and reporting suite. Develop governance frameworks that support trusted, reliable, and actionable insights

**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field
- Proficiency in analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to interpret SCV data for cross-sell potential
- Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines
- Experience of working within company and ethical rules and regulations
- Experience of working in a highly accurate environment
- Experience within healthcare sector would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and workload
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
