The Appliance Repair Coordinator supports the Rework Project through the repair and refurbishment of electrical appliances and furniture for re-use as part of the Rework Business Plan working within the workshops, warehouse, and CA Site, and as requiredin customers’ homes or premises. The charity is all about helping the environment and have funding to employ a local young person (but you must live in Lambeth and be aged between 16 - 30 and unemployed).
Typical tasks include:
- Prepare used domestic appliances and furniture for resale.
- Asist with repair, refurbish and test domestic appliances, small household appliances and furniture within the workshop and warehouse environments.
- Assist in test electrical appliances or equipment to ensure they meet the appropriate quality and safety standards.
- Cleaning and packaging of appliances and furniture
- To be eligible, you must live in the borough of Lambeth, unemployed and be aged between 16 - 30._
