We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Nova Training as an **E-Sports Tutor **at our **Wolverhampton **Centre.

**We can provide a teacher training programme to support you working towards a formal teaching qualification.**

To deliver a high quality, engaging and interactive education programme in BTEC Level 2 in E-Sports. To ensure learners produce work and gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to ensure they meet awarding body standards, achieve their qualifications and can progress into employment and/or further learning. As part of all our education programmes, learners are expected to improve or maintain their levels of Maths, English, with ICT, as such these are embedded in all sessions.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation and development of the E-Sports (ES) qualification and strategy.
- Work with the company to ensure we are up to date with E-sports news, and that our resources reflect this.
- Identify additional relevant enrichment activities within ES that would benefit learners.
- Embed and deliver Functional Skills following the Study Programme ethos, ensuring learners develop high level employability skills, maths and English and vocational skills.
- Ensure learners are supported with any barriers and personal and social development issues they may have.
- Develop and assess ES to the appropriate levels to support the learners’ ability to work confidently,effectively and independently in life and work.
- Achieve company KPI’s and individual performance plan.
- Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure session plans and differentiated resources are prepared prior to learners attending and are linked to overarching curriculum plans.
- Create conditions in the training centre(s), which will help to develop the abilities, skill and confidence of each learner.
- Ensure that all aspects of HASAWA are understood, maintained and extended to learners, staff and visitors.

**Essential Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following;
- **A current full UK Driver’s License with full access to a vehicle**:

- Level 2 English and Maths
- The passion & desire to teach.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IAQ qualification (desirable)
- Have volunteering experience in supervising (or have worked with) young people undertaking awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze/Silver/Gold Awards. (desirable)
- Previous experience working in an education setting would be preferred is not essential. Full teacher training will be provided if required.
- To be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- To work flexibly and to have a creative approach to meeting targets.
- Organisational experience in a previous job role.
- To build successful relationships with other staff, students and third parties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000 - £23,000 pa (depending upon experience)
