Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West, based in Westfield, Radstock we are looking for HR and Payroll Administrator to join our friendly team

Working closely with our HR Director and Payroll Manager your Key Responsibilities will be as follows:

- Creating job descriptions and advertising new vacancies
- Supporting the offer and on boarding process including preparing offer paperwork, carrying out pre-employment checks, ensuring all necessary paperwork is scanned and filed electronically, preparing induction schedules for new starters
- Inputting data onto the firm's HR database (People HR)
- Deal with in-coming phone calls appropriately
- Other general HR administration requirements
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Responsibility of ordering and distributing of uniform
- Production of Reports: producing various payroll reports for distribution across the business on a weekly and ad hoc basis
- Liaising with managers on a weekly basis regarding issuing memos/news for employees through our HR Database
- Adding training and competency records to the training portal
- Logging sickness and other absence on HR System
- Processing leavers (accurately recording reasons for leaving and resignation reasons), issuing resignation acknowledgement letters

**Key Competencies**:

- Excellent administration skills, with previous recruitment and/or HR administration experience desirable
- Strong Communication skills with a professional and confidential approach to work
- Organised approach with great attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Capability to report correct information to colleagues
- Highly competent in Microsoft
- Previous payroll experience using Sage payroll would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided

- After 2 year’s unbroken service employees will receive an additional day’s holiday which will increase by an extra day (pro rata where necessary) after each additional full years’ service up to a maximum of 3 days.

**Additional Details**:

- Hours of work Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm with 30 mins for lunch.
- 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
- Workplace Pension

**Salary**: £20,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
