**Permanent Plumber / Heating Engineer**

**Location**: North West - Bolton, North Manchester, Accrington, Bury
**Salary**: Starting from £37,500 OTE (DOE)
**Contract**: Permanent, Full-time

**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced **Plumber / Heating Engineer** to join our growing team. You will be working for a large, established UK company covering the North West region.

This role offers the opportunity to develop and expand your skill set, with **additional training provided** in areas such as electrical or gas work (depending on your background).

You will be responsible for carrying out **responsive maintenance** and **manufacturer warranty repairs** within domestic properties — both private and rented — ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic settings.
- Attend manufacturer warranty calls to diagnose and resolve faults.
- Undertake minor electrical repairs (e.g., changing sockets, shower fans, light fittings).
- Ensure all work is compliant with health and safety standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.

**Essential Experience & Qualifications**
- **City & Guilds Level 2 or 3** qualification in **Plumbing and/ or Electrical** (proof required).
- **Full UK Driving Licence.**:

- Proven experience working in domestic properties.
- Strong technical understanding of domestic plumbing systems, fault diagnosis, and repair.

**Desirable / Additional Qualifications**
- **Part P Electrical Certification.**:

- **Electrical Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent).**:

- **Domestic ACS / Gas Safe certification** or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical fault finding and control circuits.

- Must be physically fit and able to handle tools and equipment (up to 20kg).

**Key Employment Details**
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (door to door).
- **Additional Work**: Two weekend days per month (approx. 7 hours per day).

Pay: £39,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
