Football Coach

**Job Title**: Part-Time Football Coach for Infant and Junior Schools

**Location**: Various schools (infant and junior) within Chiltern and South Bucks

**Hours**: 2 hours per session, flexible schedule

**Job Type**: Part-Time, Zero hours contract

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver football coaching sessions for children in infant and junior schools.
- Create age-appropriate training sessions focusing on skill development, teamwork, and tactics where appropiate.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to support their growth and improvement.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants during sessions.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and guardians regarding session schedules and progress.
- Maintain and organize equipment necessary for sessions.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the employer.

**Requirements**:

- Valid coaching qualifications in football (e.g., FA Level 1 or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a coaching or educational setting.
- Passion for football and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among children.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions suitable for different age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
- Driver's license with access to a car or reliable transportation to travel between sessions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including during school holidays for holiday camp hours.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- FA Level 2 coaching qualification or higher.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience coaching football in a school environment.
- Experience organizing and running holiday camps or similar sports events.
