Part Time Accounts Administrator

Ready Eats Ltd is a food production company in Huntingdon. We are looking for a part-time Accounts Administrator to assist the Operations Manager and Director with the day to day accounting for the company as well as general administration and some sales cold calling.
You will be working 25-30 hours a week with flexible schedule between 8am and 5pm, but at least 3 times a week.
Your rate of pay will start from £13/hour.
**Skills and attributes**:
We are looking for an organised and self-motivated person with minimum 3 years of administration experience. In addition to this we are looking for the following skills:
- Flexible self-starter who can work without supervision
- Have a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confident user of spreadsheets
- Strong in systems and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
**Responsibilities**
You will be assisting the Operations Manager and Director with the day to day accounting for the company as well as general administration and some sales cold calling.
- Maintaining accounting records; including sales and purchase ledgers using Xero. Posting daily sales and purchases.
- Maintaining HR files and assisting with HR administration.
- Liaising with suppliers and placing orders for the Catering Department and accounting for purchases.
- Contacting customers and taking orders. Chasing outstanding amounts due.
- Calling potential customers to set up appointments with sales person.
- Organising calendars and appointments.
- Facilities - organising maintenance work, dealing with issues re utilities/phones/waste collection etc and liaising with relevant suppliers.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
