UniCarriers, previously known as Atlet, have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the Service team in the Doncaster area.

UniCarriers, a brand of Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe, provide materials handling products and services directly to our customers. Mitsubishi Logisnext is the world’s fourth-largest industrial truck manufacturer and supplies a complete range of electric, gas and diesel operated trucks.

We are seeking a multiskilled, electrically biased engineer capable of carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and servicing on fully automated pallet stacking cranes and nonautomated material handling equipment.

**The Field Service Engineer Role**

As our Field Service Engineer you will act as a key member of the team by keeping our client’s equipment in smooth working order. You will be working in a professional environment where the freedom to take charge of your own assignments would be a regular feature of the role. You will have the following duties and responsibilities:

- Performing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance of customer cranes and materials handling equipment
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis carrying out subsequent repairs in a time and cost-effective manner
- Develop and maintain client relationships ensuring the highest levels of customer service is achieved
- Liaison with the parts department to ensure appropriate stock levels are held on the company vehicle.
- Completion of documentation to company standards

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for the role of Field Service Engineer you will be an electrically biased engineer. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: internal warehouse equipment, vertical crane systems, elevators, overhead crane systems, conveyor systems, production machinery, electric internal fork trucks. **You must hold a UK driving licence.**
- Experience of working on mobile machinery (brakes, steering, wheels, lift chains etc.)
- Electrical drive and control systems
- Diesel and LPG engines and common drive-trains
- Hydraulics
- Some computer/electronic based diagnostic experience would be considered an advantage
