**Role**

Launching in September 2025, our Transitions Hub will support young people across the Liverpool City Region who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and are working at Entry Level 2 and above, helping them prepare for adulthood, further education, or employment.

At the Transitions Hub, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for SEND students. We believe in empowering our learners to be ready for employment and independence through an ambitious and highly individualised curriculum.

As a Lecturer in the department of Foundation studies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful learner outcomes and helping students progress to their chosen destinations. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative teaching, assessment, and support for a diverse group of SEND students. Inclusive of planning delivering accredited and non accredited learning, created from learners EHCP outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver inspiring and motivating teaching sessions that promote student engagement and success.
- Implement effective feedback and assessment systems to monitor and adapt teaching for optimal learner progress.
- Collaborate with a team of teaching and care assistants to provide the best opportunities for all students.
- Maintain a professional learning environment, consistently implementing behaviour management processes.
- Support curriculum development and innovation to enhance learner experiences and outcomes.
- Develop high-quality resources and utilise technology to support independent learning.
- Establish professional relationships with students and collaborate with multi-agency teams as needed.

**Criteria**:

- Possess a minimum of a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification.
- Possess a PGCE/Certificate of education or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Track record of successful teaching within the lifelong learning sector
- Detailed knowledge of EHCPs and students with SEND
- Experience in developing and maintaining external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning.
- Ability to provide clear, direct and constructive written and verbal feedback
- Ability to inspire, motivate and raise the aspirations of learners through high-quality teaching
