MR PORTER are now seeking a talented Senior Upload Planner to join the team on a FTC. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Oversee and support the development of 2-6 upload team members.
- Analyse key reporting metrics on a weekly basis and regularly present these findings in meetings
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- Ensure actions and refinements from weekly meetings are reflected back into the upload team’s workflow
- Support the Upload Manager in ad hoc requests for progress/ processing updates, team schedule adjustments and deputising in meetings
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration with the upload team and function
- Act as a representative and spokesperson for new requests to the upload team, balancing the needs/ priority of the business against the resource/ capacity within the team
- Provide numerical forecasts based on delivery and last year trends to aid in studio capacity and upload planning
- Keep a strict schedule and enforce deadlines for all teams, whilst remaining flexible if urgent priorities arise
- Translate the global luxury site strategy and business objectives into achievable everyday practices for the Upload team.
- Become an expert on tooling for legacy and new YNAP platforms, leading user acceptance testing and training initiatives for Upload.
- Ensure the smooth and regular flow of products through the warehouse, studio production and onto the NAP site, every upload day and for all regions.
- Champion technological improvements with tech, data and product teams.
- Troubleshoot repetitive issues and collaborate with stakeholders to make the upload process more efficient.
- Have flexible work hours as called upon - early starts or late afternoons, bank holiday availability, some weekends, etc.

The type of person we are looking for:

- Previous managerial experience of at least 2 direct reports
- Previous experience in managing and helping schedule a team’s workload
- At least 5 years’ experience in ecommerce or operations
- A clear and confident verbal and written communication style
- Fluent in ecommerce/ retail metrics, business KPIs and previous involvement in trading meetings
- Proficient in excel, powerpoint and outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task/manage multiple requests at the same time
- An added bonus to have experience working alongside large scale technical or re-platforming projects
