**Driver Hire Southampton** is recruiting experienced **Class 2 Skip lorry** drivers for a 12-week temp to perm contract with a well-established and one of Hampshire’s leading waste management companies who have branches throughoutthe coastal towns of Hampshire.

**Customer is willing to provide training to drivers with mínimal skip experience if needed. However, some experience in skip collection and deliveries is essential to be considered for this position.**

**Job Description for Class 2 Skip Driver**:

- Start time 6:30am-7:00am start
- Monday-Friday, no weekends
- Complete daily checks of the vehicles
- Check the weight limit of the vehicle
- Liaising with the clients regarding delivery information
- Safely collecting and delivering skips to customer homes or construction sites
- Valid UK driving licence (CAT C)
- Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Complete understanding of health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
