The A1 group is a family run business specialising in Scrap Metal, Loo Hire and Wet Waste.

Our Loo Hire division are looking for a person to fill either admin assistant / hire desk controller role or a trainee manager position to join our team in our Bicester/Thame depot.

This is newly created office based position in a rapidly growing company providing portable welfare equipment and servicing to the construction and utility sector and also the outdoor event market.

Key responsibilities will be talking with customers to take new orders and deal with customer queries, raising contracts and organizing and maintaining the work planner and dealing with driver queries.

Specific product training will be given, but it may be an advantage if applicants have had previous experience of the hire industry in some format.

A brief outline of the roles is as follows
- Office Admin
- Responsible for issuing & allocating order numbers
- Responsible for depot ordering
- Liasing with customers and other depots
- General admin duties - filing, ordering stationary, coordinating maintenance of photocopier etc

Hire Desk Controller
- Managing customer off hires
- Dealing with customer queries
- Dealing with driver enquiries
- Organising & maintaining the work planner
- Assisting the senior staff with the day to day running of the business

Experience of using a windows based computerised hire system would be an advantage, although full training will be giving.

The office is open from 7.30am until 5pm, but the hours of work can be discussed as part of the interview process. Most staff either work 42.5 or 45 hours per week.

Salary is negotiable, dependant on experience, and hours of work will be discussed at interview stage.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
