**Housekeeper**
**Required at our CORNER HOUSE STIRLING**
**Monday - Friday**
We are requiring a Nursery Housekeeper, to join our fantastic team at Happitots STIRLING, who loves being around children Who will shares our values.
You will work as part of a team and be responsible for keeping our nursery clean and tidy and carry out some light cooking duties to provide our lovely children with healthy snacks.
**Tasks include;**
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify management on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- To prepare nutritious meals and snacks, suitable for children from birth - 5 years, following nursery menu and catering for special dietary requirements.
- To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene including a neat and tidy appearance.
- To cook and store foods with a high standard of hygiene.
- To wear appropriate protective clothing whilst in the kitchen.
- To correctly store and label all foods fresh or frozen.
- To safely dispose of all kitchen waste.
- To maintain all kitchen equipment including the cleaning and washing of crockery and cutlery.
- To maintain records required by law

**About you**
- Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Be able to communicate effectively with staff and children
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper

You will need to either be a PVG member for regulated work with children or be willing to become a PVG scheme member, which we will pay for.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
