**Finance Manager | Stockport | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience**

Our client is the brand-new franchisee for the long-standing Dyno-Rod brand in the Greater Manchester area and the company have big, bold plans for expansion and growth. Having taken over the territory for plumbing, the team offer a comprehensive range ofservices that not only include plumbing repairs and maintenance on a 24/7 basis but also installations from radiators to fully fitted bathrooms.

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for the financial and administration management of the business. You will ensure the best practice in all areas of accounting, finance management and administration.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Ideally AAT Level 3 qualified or part qualified and working towards AAT Level 3
- Highly experienced with Xero
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a busy Finance and Accounts role
- Proactive and highly motivated, diligent, and calm
- Experience of payroll and knowledge of management of stock would also be beneficial

**What will your role look like?**
- Maintain financial and administrative records, reconciling all expenditure and payments and balances on day-to-day transactions
- Processing all accounting transactions
- Monthly reconciliation of creditors to supplier statements
- Providing and interpreting financial information
- Preparation of monthly budget and cashflow forecasts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Track and maintain cash flow daily
- Managing credit control
- Managing sales and purchase ledger
- Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
- Processing of Payroll and PAYE
- Processing of company credit cards and fuel cards
- General maintenance of the accounting ledger
- Administration of HMRC corporation tax, PAYE, and VAT payments within timescales
- Lead on year end close of Xero for accounts preparation
- Liaising with the external accountants and providing all the required information to complete the year end statutory requirements
- Recruit and build the finance team as the business needs develop
