A great Chemical Controller will help keep our business running smoothly and be responsible for the receipt of bulk chemical deliveries in accordance with all Environmental, Healthand Safety Standards and Raw Material Specifications. As well as ensuring accurate supply of chemicals to the production lines to the agreed standards, identify opportunities, and recommend potential changes to improve the functioning of the Tank Farm in orderfor the plant to continue to manufacturing high standard products to plan. To support the business you will; - Receive bulk and non-bulk chemical deliveries, checking against purchase orders and Raw Material Specifications and completing goods in process by following SOP's and SAP. - Locate non-bulk chemicals in the relevant storage/usage areas within the Tank Farm and Production areas. - Supervising vehicles and drivers whilst on site, ensuring conformance to EHS standards and procedures - Ensure chemical raw materials are handled, maintained, processed, and used according to specifications, procedures and standards. - Maintain the hazardous waste register to enable safe disposal of all hazardous waste material. - Conduct daily Tank Farm condition checks, ensuring chemicals are correctly conditioned and relevant pumps and valves are set ready for production, and maintain good standards of housekeeping. - Record all chemical movements and conduct monthly stock checks and adjustments in SAP - Liaise with the Raw Materials Manager regarding stock management and general Tank farm issues - Conduct all TPM activities according to schedule and audit findings - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all information and paperwork flow to and from the Tank Farm - Work in a safe and responsible manner ensuring no accidents occur to yourself or colleagues as a consequence of your actions and be constantly mindful of the impact of activities on our environment. - Liaise with Engineering, identifying equipment that requires repair or attention. - Liaise with Research & Development on product/material development. - Undertake any other duties as may be required by your line manager or the management team, consistent with the scope of the job - To adhere to all policies and procedures and ensure that you respect these with regard to, though not limited to, health and safety, the elimination of waste and care for the environment, equality of opportunity and the prevention of fraud - Support our purpose of "making the world a better home" and specifically contribute to our target of zero carbon by 2050 **Requirements**: First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; so whether you've never worked in this industry before, or had years of experience with one our competitors, you're just as likely to be a greatfit A great Chemical Controller at Celotex is organised in their approach, showing good attention to detail so their work is accurate and reliable.
