Community Youth Services is made up of a number of youth engagement services that seek to support young people where they are at. We are community based enabling youth provisions to be directly delivered in communities. Youth voice is at our core ensuring we deliver services to young people that are relevant to their needs.

You will work alongside the Contextual Safeguarding Practice Lead in order to support the delivery of Community based interventions and engage and seek partnership working with other statutory, voluntary and community organisations. Working in partnership with other agencies you will formulate collaborative approaches and plans to meet the needs of vulnerable young people and communities.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
