**Salary**: £10/h - £12/h (Overtime will be available)
Working Pattern - 48hr 4 days on 3 days off or 5 days on 2 days off
Search Engineering and Manufacturing have once again partnered with a Fresh Produce business and we're looking for Quality Controller to join their team.

Previous experience working in an automated food or drink production business in either a production, operations, packaging or warehouse environment, would be extremely beneficial. Ultimately though we're looking for ambitious forward thinking individuals whoare looking to start there career in a food manufacturer.
Duties and responsibilities:

- To ensure the quality of the products being produced meets the quality specifications for the target customer as per the details in the Packing and Labelling Specifications Folder
- To ensure all product leaving the Pack-house meet's the customer's specifications
- To ensure trace ability standards are met by performing relevant checks and keeping thorough, accurate records according to procedure
- To carry out all work diligently and conscientiously
- To follow Labelling procedure
- Checking and signing the Label Check Sheet to confirm that the labels are correct where necessary reporting any incorrect labels and ensuring that they are removed and returned to Label Room to be destroyed as per the LabelCheck Procedure
- To instruct/oversee staff on what they are packing, which customer is being serviced and check the pack size & count is correct.
- To ensure staff are using the correct equipment, correct packaging and correct labels complete their task
- To communicate immediately any issues or trends in quality to the QC Supervisor or QC Manager or in their absence to any other manager
- Ability to read and write in English
