Workchain require 5 x van drivers for our prestigious client based in Woodford Green, IG postcode area.

Working for our client in the medical delivery sector, you will be required to deliver, collect and install disability equipment to clients homes.

**The role is predominantly working Monday to Friday but you will also be placed on an on-call rota and be required to be on-call over the weekend every 3/4 weeks.**

**IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE**

Applicants must;
- Be DBS checked. This will need to be self-funded initially but once you have completed work for our client this will be reimbursed in your first pay cheque.
- Due to working in the medical sector with vurnerable clients, all applicants must have had their first 2 COVID19 vaccinations - This is a requirement by the clients they our customers hold contracts with. If an applicant is to only have 1 vaccination butdue their second within 4 weeks this will be considered.
- Hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 points
- Minimum 21 years old due to insurance purposes.
- Have no serious endorsements or previous disqualifications.
- Smart, clean apperance and polite manner due to the nature of this position.
- Be able to work on-call over the weekends based on a rota set out by the client.
- Pay rate;
- Up to £11.00 per hour

Daily duties;
- Medical deliveries in large 3.5t van - provided by our client.
- Loading equipment onto the van prior to delivery.
- Multiple deliveries daily.
- Provide a polite, empathetic and client focussed service taking into consideration that service users may be bereaved, angry or vulnerable and some delivery locations may be in a poor state of repair or dirty.
- Installation of deliveries including repair and replacing damanged/faulty products.
- Identify and report immediately any perceived safeguarding issues to your line manager.
- Being on call on a rotational basis receiving enhanced allowance during your on-call periods.
