**Job Title: Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer**

**Location: Aberdeen and the surrounding areas**

**Salary: Competitive + car allowance or company van / car + pension + medical, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), opportunities for overtime available**

**Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)**

**Job Function**:
Our client is one of the UK’s leaders in providing innovative construction and engineering solutions for clients within a variety of sectors including Retail, Health, Education and Commercial.

An opportunity has become available for a Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer to join our client to work within the Aberdeenshire region.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Delivery of Refrigeration commissioning works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
- Liaison with the Project / Installation Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.
- Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
- Identification and resolution of commissioning and fault finding issues that may affect project delivery.
- There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology.
- From time to time it may be required to work in other areas across the UK to cover during holiday periods and at times of high demand.

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail sector
- Experience in working unsupervised
- A 'can do’ attitude and self-motivation
- Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements
- A good degree of IT literacy
- Holding a full and clean driving licence
- Excellent communication skills

**Essential Qualifications**:

- NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
- City & Guilds (2079) F - Gas Cat 1
- CO2
- Working knowledge of RDM and Carel Equipment
