We have the fantastic opportunity for an experienced** Finance Business Partner **to join Absolute Taste to support us on our **LIV Golf **events.
**Previous event experience is essential. **This role does require international travel to all LIV Golf events. All international travel is paid for by Absolute Taste.**
**Please note this role is both a financial and operational one so having experience in Food and Beverage operations will be an advantage.**
**General**
- Full commercial reasonability and accountability for all LIV Golf events Absolute Taste cater for
- Key clients contact for all LIV Golf events
- Perform an event leadership role across all event functions. Providing direction and motivation to all teams
- To ensure the overall financial delivery and reporting of all catering aspects for LIV Golf is to the required standards
- Manage and setup processes and policies ensuring project remains on target
- Be able develop clear reports and communicate clearly, accurately and transparently to key internal and external stakeholders
- Form part of the strategic team, ensuring the overarching goals of the project are achieved
- Help with sourcing, managing and controlling third-party suppliers for EPOS purchasing and hire as well as manage Absolute Taste assets
- Help to actively seek efficiencies in operational deliveries with regards to COS, supplier networks and resourcing for both hospitality and retail
- Manage the team and the client with regular financial updates.
- Support the development reporting processes and spend capturing of all operational aspects of the event and to work to strict budgets whilst striving for great customer service
- Strict contract management, reviewing all contractual obligations for both Absolute taste and LIV Golf to make sure revenues, targets and budgets are adhered to
**Budget & Finance**
- To work alongside Finance department and Project Lead for ongoing management of the budget, including forecasting and future budget development.
- Tracking all associated spends
- Adhere to all local tax systems
- Facilitate invoicing, tracking payments onto systems the correct codes and providing reconciliations for each key event.
- Ensuring the event follows company finance processes; raising PO’s, good receipts, submitting supplier invoices to finance
- Review and prepare budget reports for senior management and LIV Golf
- Develop the day to day retail reports for LIV Golf as well as reconciliation
- Maintain a good knowledge of seasonal ingredients and food costs and ensure cost pressures across all areas are regularly reviewed and adapted in order to mitigate these increases
**Strategy**
- Act as an ambassador for Absolute Taste towards our client and guests
- Monitoring and maintaining overall morale of the Absolute Taste LIV Golf team, paying close attention to the mental well-being of each individual team member and ensuring that they’re needs are always taken into consideration and acting accordingly
- Responsible for working with internal departments, external suppliers and other 3rd parties stakeholders to implement the department strategy
**Onsite**
- Attendance of all LIV Golf events
- Act as key member of the event delivery team as required
- Responsible for Absolute Taste EPOS systems across all events
- Develop and provide report packs and briefings to all all senior managers and LIV Golf ensuring all key information is provided.
- Calm and decisive in challenging, stressful situations
- Identify and implement ways to further enhance profitability for both Absolute Taste and LIV Golf
- Ensure the retail reporting to LIV Golf finance teams is completed daily.
- Ensure all records and reports are fully completed, up-to-date
**Other**
- Excellent client relationship building and management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all LIV Golf stakeholders and internal teams
- Design and continuously improve and implement processes to ensure the smooth running of the event
- Enforce adherence to regulations, quality and safety standards in accordance with local laws
- Develop and communicate standard operating procedures to all staff
- Attend the post-event debrief with the client
- Large international event and/or big projects experience
- Organised, punctual, motivational, and with varied communication skills, (formal, informal, international)
- To be conversant with all company codes of conduct
