Tax Advisor

Mid sized, modern and digitally focused independent firm based in Hampshire seek mixed tax advisor to work with the Tax manager and client account directors.

As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for building great relationships with clients, completing varied tax project work that helps clients optimise the tax that they pay.

- Being the first port of call for all technical tax questions from the accounts Team or clients
- Working with our clients to ensure they are operating in the most tax efficient way possible whilst remaining compliant
- Getting involved in interesting project work within the team
- Supporting other members of the tax team

**About you. My client is looking for someone with**:

- A positive attitude, who loves working as part of a team
- A solution-focused approach to help our clients make the right business decisions
- At least 2 years working within a tax advisory role
- ATT qualified or something similar
- Excellent client service skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- Experience in dealing with business owners
- Experience working with HMRC to resolve client queries
- Great organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise a changing workload
- A passion and desire to make a difference

**Your experience will include**:

- Completing and reviewing Personal Tax Returns
- Working in one or more of the additional areas of tax:

- P11Ds
- PSAs
- R&D Claims
- Business restructures
- Employee share schemes
- Mergers & acquisitions

**Location and working hours**
- The position is full-time, with flexible working around core hours of 10am-4pm. There is no fixed start or end time each day.
- You're able to work from anywhere. All you need is your laptop (which will be provided) and the internet... and enough snacks to see you through the day
