**Details of this position**:
This position is for a full-time Carpentry Lecturer to work at a Category C Adult Male Prison. The role will involve teaching City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry, to a cohort of up to 10 learners in a fully equipped construction workshop. Practicals can runfor up to 3 hours, allowing for more contact time with the learners.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Work time: 8:15 - 16:45, with a 13:30 finish on Fridays.
Salary scale**:£25,000- £34,000**
Holidays: 35 days annual leave, 3 additional days leave for Christmas to New Year closure and UK Bank Holidays
- A teaching qualification (_or a willingness to work towards one_)
- An Assessors Award
- A relevant vocational trade qualification
- Relevant industry trade experience
- Experience teaching Carpentry (_desirable) _
