**What will this role involve?**
The purpose of this role is to perform a range of assigned front-line **maintenance/operational**activities on our sewage treatment works in **East Hyde - Luton - LU1 3TS**
This will include planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.???
The role may also require you to take part in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hour's emergency standby rota, for which you receive additional payments.??
On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your “workload” and will also be responding to emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone which highlights the importance of our high health and safety standards.

You will help with the day-to-day operation of our sewage treatment works. You will be a team playerand be able to think on your feet and problem solve. Those with a can-do attitude and who can work efficiently are paramount to what we require to enable us to provide an exceptional service to our customers.??
**What skills are we looking for?**:

- **ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering**:

- A valid **driving license** is essential??
- Having previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, with an?**18th Edition qualification?**beneficial??
- **Knowledge and awareness of health and safety**?issues are crucial??
- Be a time served apprentice with?**significant experience in electrical systems**?ideally working in a “true multi-skilled” capacity??
- Be a?**self-motivated individual**:

- **Take Ownership** of responding quickly to faults, being curious to fully understand the problem, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time??
- **Have excellent communication** and interpersonal skills, to interact with the team??
- **Deliver exceptional service**?through an enthusiastic and positive approach, taking accountability for your role while working accurately and flexibly within a busy team??
- **Be a team player -?**We are one team, and our end goals are the same?
- **Proactive -** take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively?
