Titanic Hotel Belfast opened its doors for business in September 2017. This luxury 119-bedroom hotel is being created in the former headquarters of Harland & Wolff, builders of Titanic, and will provide the perfect destination for anyone travelling to Titanic Quarter on business or for pleasure.The Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices, the earliest parts of these historic buildings, date from the 1880s and over the following 100 years played an important part in the design of many of the world’s most famous ocean liners, the creation of the ‘floating hotel’ and influenced the design of many of today’s cruise ships. Belfast is the birthplace of Titanic and this heritage hotel will be a sister to our award-winning Titanic Hotel Liverpool. The hotel is being restored and operated by Harcourt Developments; an international property development company with over 50 years’ experience restoring and renovating listed heritage buildings.

Reservations Agent
- Full time Time (available to work weekends)

The Reservations Agent role involves a range of duties dealing with our guests reservations including taking reservations by telephone and online, processing, amending and updating so that upon arrival the booking is accurate. You will carry out reservation checks, take deposits and deal with advance purchase bookings. Following up provisional bookings you will convert enquiries into sales ensuring maximum occupancy and room rates are achieved on every occasion. Proactively selling as a Reservations Agent you will identify opportunities for upselling on every booking.

- Maximising sales opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and achieving add-on sales
- Analysing why customers behave as they do and adapts accordingly
- Promoting effective relationships with customers and internal departments
- Acquiring skills and knowledge relating to the job role
- Looking for sales opportunities within the thinking and planning process
- Demonstrating a systematic approach to organisation and administration
- Providing clear and timely information to customers and the sales department.
- Ensuring promises are kept by following through on requests
- Working closely with other departments within the hotel through effective communication
- Previous experience

The successful applicant must have previous experience in a similar position preferably in hotel/hospitality related role. Working in an administration/reception background you will be computer literate and able to work flexible hours.
