Kitchen Porter

Feast own and operate a fleet of 20 refrigerated and heated sandwich vans across the Midlands. We serve approximately 18,000 repeat customers each week and employ over 45 employees.

As we are getting busier we are looking to expand our current kitchen team and are looking for a part time warehouse assistant.

Please note we are based between Droitwich and Kidderminster with no public transport routes so **own transport is essential to get to our depot.**
- **The role**_

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work 3 out of days Monday to Friday with varying start and finish times between 8am and 2.30pm.

This is fast paced, repetitive work and attention to detail is key - the work environment is a friendly and lively one....however it is a physical and fast paced role.

Overtime will be available to cover holiday and/or sickness

**Typical daily tasks and responsibilities.**
- Putting away deliveries - maximum weight of 25kg
- Access to chiller and freezer
- Labelling and picking kits for drivers to load onto their vans
- Scanning stock returns into stock control system
- Date rotation of stock
- Day to day cleaning

**What do you need to do this job?**
- Work hard and be 100% reliable
- Physically fit - able to lift heavy items and be on your feet all day
- Be flexible in attitude and adaptable to tasks and people.
- Be a strong team player
- Demonstrate ownership of your responsibilities.
- Be honest and open in your approach to work relationships.
- Possess full command of the English language and some numeracy, both written and spoken.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Fork Lift Licence desirable
