As a **Support Worker**, you will be included in creating activities and ensuring the people we support receive a great level of care within their home. You will be supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations - no matter how big or small theyare - and to promote independence by learning new skills.

With the great support of your manager and our interactive training programme, you will learn how to provide excellent care for people we support.

Repton Road is an Intensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Registered 24 hour ** Care Home** for adults with mental health and complex needs including dual diagnosis.

The homely & comfortable project accommodates 5 people in a shared environment.

Each person has their own room and shares the communal areas.

Set in a quiet residential road in the leafy town of **Orpington** it has excellent access to local community facilities and public transport.

**Our Support Worker’s duties will be**:

- Providing social and emotional support, either at home and/or in their local community
- Supporting residents with their personal care including personal hygiene needs if required
- Support with their shopping and assisting with budgeting
- Building/maintaining relationship with friends and family of our residents
- Household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry
- Going out for walks, meals and other activities that supported individuals may want to experience

- You need to be a very calm, caring individual with a positive outlook
- Empathy, caring and sensitivity to the needs of others
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer Literate
- Car driver desirable but not essential
