We are looking for experienced and ambitious **PSV Engineers **to join Arriva, based at our **Ashington Depot.**

Join a great, highly-skilled team working in a well-equipped bus depot with up to date diagnostics equipment, maintaining over 60 vehicles, including 19 brand new double-deckers.

As a **PSV Engineer**, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

**The role will involve**:

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
- Attending roadside breakdowns
- Working 5 days over 7

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation)
- Qualifications for car and light vehicles will be considered - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation)
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
- Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical
