**About the role and our team**

Join us as a Financial Intelligence Support Officer for the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)

The FIU’s core purpose is to protect the integrity of the Isle of Man’s financial system by contributing to the administration of justice through its expertise in detecting financial crime, and countering money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The FIU receives, analyses and shares financial intelligence with both domestic and international partners.

Within this role, you will provide administrative support to the office including the Senior Management Team and will work closely with the FIU’s Intelligence Analysts and the local business community in the use of the Themis online reporting system, supporting the FIU in demonstrating a high level of customer service and professionalism.

You will also provide a professional reception service to visitors, acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries and ensure a good standard of customer service is provided and that all information is handled effectively.

The FIU continues to develop its people, systems and processes to ensure that it provides a high standard of financial intelligence related services to the Isle of Man and international community. If this role interests you, we would love to hear from you

Please note a Security Clearance Check is required for this post,** **which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
